Program Vision
James E. Taylor Basketball Program VISION
Parent Film Night
Starting Monday, Dec 1st at 7 PM (after the booster club meeting on the 1st Monday of the month) in the competition gym, Coach McCarter will review game film from the past week each Monday with the parents. This is your chance to find out:
"What the heck was coach thinking?", "What are we trying to do in that situation?", Parents are encouraged to come and learn what Varsity Basketball is all about at THS.
Parent's Role - Possibly the most important role of all.

Must TRUST the coaching staff in every decision and action. |
| Must LET THEIR SON FAIL. Don't make excuses. It's how you learn. |
| Must publicly and privately SUPPORT the basketball program. Be a TEAM player. |
| Must SUPPORT their son, not "coach" their son |
| Must COMMUNICATE with coaches any concerns major or minor. Don't let issues build up. |
| Must ENCOURAGE your son, not criticize his game. |
| Must understand that TEAMS lose games. Not players. (or coaches or referees) |

We are currently in that process. Until Football is complete several players are still in the football program.
